Vibes with JBay - In Studio Session
Every once in a while, you meet an artist who doesn’t just inspire you creatively, but continues to grow with you, year after year. That’s exactly what Jbay has been for me.
This recent in-studio session with him was simple and relaxed, just good vibes, great energy, and a shared vision. No big concept, no over-the-top setups, just an easy, chill flow that naturally unfolded into something beautiful. And honestly, these are some of my favorite kinds of sessions. There's something about the ease and comfort of working with someone you’ve built years of creative trust with that allows the magic to happen without forcing it.
Jbay is one of my OGs. We’ve been working together for years, and every session with him feels like returning to a creative home. From capturing album covers and Spotify profile images, to curating content for Instagram, Facebook, and his website, it’s been a full-circle kind of journey. We've even brought our visions to life through video, including a music video we created together, which still remains one of my favorite collaborative pieces to date.
I’ve watched him evolve not just as a musician, but as a storyteller. To see the imagery we’ve created together woven into his brand and music identity is incredibly fulfilling. There’s something special about watching an artist come into their own, and even more special being a part of that visual narrative.
It's not just about taking photos, it’s about co-creating something that reflects who they are, where they’ve been, and where they’re going. And with Jbay, that story keeps unfolding in the best possible ways.
I feel deeply honored to play a role in his creative journey. These sessions are a reminder of why I love what I do, to collaborate, to grow, and to build lasting artistic relationships that go beyond a single shoot.
