It was such a joy to welcome the Mekkawy family back in front of my camera for their second session! Last year, I had the privilege of capturing their beautiful moments as they eagerly awaited the arrival of baby Maddison. This year, they returned to Florida for their annual family visit, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be their vacation photographer once again.

There’s something truly special about "mommy and me" sessions, and my recent session with Catalina and her beautiful baby girl, Effie, was no exception. This was the second time I had the pleasure of working with Catalina, and I was so happy to see her again. There's a certain warmth that comes from reconnecting with clients and witnessing the growth of their little ones.

We kicked things off at Indian Riverside Park, one of my go-to spots for photos. The weather was perfect, and the vibe was all about having fun. We headed to the wood boardwalk, where Gali’s playful spirit really shined. We snapped some super fun portraits that captured her vibrant personality—lots of laughs and smiles all around!

First off, let me introduce you to Bella. She’s not only graduating this year but also has a love for adventure and the outdoors. So, when she suggested we do her senior photos on a private island, I was immediately on board, AHOY! We hopped on a boat and set sail to this picturesque little island, where the entire landscape seemed tailor-made for a photo shoot.

This was a fun little project that took a new turn during post-production! Sometimes, these magical moments happen where the creative vision shifts and evolves into something even better.

"Nothing but a Wisp & a Drift" is about our vulnerabilities. Sometimes, we may feel like nothing but a wisp and a drift—vulnerable and unstable. This heart project emerged from a place of personal pain and struggle, where I experienced deep loss and felt extremely vulnerable. Like life's journey, with its highs and lows, this session concluded with strength and confidence. Enjoy.

The Wamble crew was such a fun bunch, full of love for one another. With some family members coming from out of state, it was heartwarming to see everyone come together and enjoy each other’s company. There was so much joy and happiness during this session that it was definitely a memorable one!

For this session, the Lubben Brothers wanted a studio-style shoot to enhance their website and social media presence. We decided to keep things simple, letting their dynamic personalities and close bond take center stage. The results were fantastic—clean, striking images that truly capture the essence of who they are as artists and as brothers.

We started with some classic portraits, capturing Julie seated at a grand piano, fingers poised over the keys. Her natural elegance and deep connection to her instrument shone through effortlessly. As she played a few notes, I could see her slipping into her musical world, making it easier for me to capture those genuine moments of artistry.
