Growth doesn’t happen in comfort, so I built this session around a set of intentional challenges. The day was unexpectedly cold and windy, the kind of weather that seeps into your bones and makes it difficult to stay present. But Maleyah didn’t back down. She showed up fully, despite the elements, and pushed through the discomfort with a quiet strength that impressed me deeply.

Every senior has a story. Whether they’re athletes, artists, performers, scholars, quiet thinkers, or social butterflies, this is a chance to freeze that moment in time. Their passions, their personality, and their style exactly as it is.

There’s nothing quite like a beach session filled with laughter, sandy toes, and the kind of energy only kids can bring. The Siegfried siblings were an absolute dream to photograph—free-spirited, joyful, and wonderfully carefree.

We kicked things off at the tennis court, capturing some fun, sporty shots that highlighted her energy and confidence. Zoe brought her A-game and her joy was contagious from the very first click of the camera. Afterward, we made our way to the beach, where her free-spirited personality really came to life. The golden sunset, the warm breeze, and the soft crashing waves created the perfect backdrop for some truly magical moments.

It’s such an honor to witness—and document—so many beautiful milestones in their lives. Watching these two grow from a couple deeply in love into a beautiful family of four has been nothing short of incredible.

The old saying goes, “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” It’s a comforting idea, but not always true. Some words hit deeper than we care to admit. They linger, they echo, and they leave behind something unseen but very real.

For this shoot, we decided on a minimalist, studio-like setting with a simple prop—a single chair. The goal was to let Sara’s exceptional dancing skills shine through, and the results were simply breathtaking.

This morning the weather was so sweet, the sand was cool, and the sky was painted with the most beautiful hues of lavender and pink as the sun rose over the horizon. It was the perfect morning!

This senior session with Fatima was nothing short of a joy! From the moment we met on the beach, her infectious laughter and bright spirit had me grinning from ear to ear. We couldn’t stop laughing, and it was such a pleasure to work with someone who brought so much positive energy to the shoot. I’m super excited to be sharing what we captured together!

I still remember our first session together when she was just 8 years old—a sweet and kind little girl with a heart full of joy. Fast forward to today, and we're celebrating her 15th birthday with a fun, energetic beach shoot.
